The CMX7131 and CMX7141 are half-duplex processor IC platforms built on FirmASIC® technology and are suitable for use in digital radio and dual-mode (analogue/digital) systems, including dPMR, dPMR®/PMR446, DCR and NXDNTM radio designs. Alternatively, these ICs, with the correct Function ImageTM, can be configured to operate as an Analogue Two-way Radio Processor. Using CML's proprietary FirmASIC® component technology, on-chip sub-systems are configured by a Function ImageTM (FI): this is a data file that is uploaded during device initialisation that defines the device's function and feature set.
